Students have been working hard and I can’t wait to see all of them prove successful on their Unit 1 Assessment. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
I wanted to take a moment to send a reminder that all students in Math 7 will have their first unit assessment of the year this Friday, September 30, 2011. Students were issued a review packet of key concepts on Thursday, September 22nd. Although we reviewed the packet in class today, students should still be encouraged to look over the skills in order to fully prepare for their assessment. In addition, please remind your child that they should review their notes, handouts, graded work, and other tasks handed out throughout the unit. The following sections of the book can also serve as reference materials; 4-3, 4-4, 4-5, 4-6, 4-7, and 4-8.

Take the opportunity to review the video above. Mr. DeGraba, aka The Math Dude, helps to explain the how data can be displayed in the form of a box and whisker plot.

AuthorMy name is Mr. Bliven and I have been teaching at Matsunaga for 13 years. I love teaching and view education as a lifelong journey. Although I already hold several graduate degrees from McDaniel College and Johns Hopkins, I was thrilled to have recently completed my graduate certificate in technology integration from the University of Florida. I plan to continue my graduate studies and I am looking forward to using the strategies I learn with my students. Archives
