It is hard to believe that next week will mark the mid-point for the first marking period. Students continue to work towards mastering and/or enriching their understanding of curricular objectives and skills. Overall, I have been extremely impressed with the effort that most students have put into their work. The overwhelming majority of students are working to the best of their abilities each and every day. In order to keep this level of performance up, please discuss with your children the importance of always doing their best and never settling for less. Although most students already do their relative best, it is always beneficial to reinforce this important lesson. By working together we can help to make this the best year yet. Thank you for the wonderful support at home and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

AuthorMy name is Mr. Bliven and I have been teaching at Matsunaga for 13 years. I love teaching and view education as a lifelong journey. Although I already hold several graduate degrees from McDaniel College and Johns Hopkins, I was thrilled to have recently completed my graduate certificate in technology integration from the University of Florida. I plan to continue my graduate studies and I am looking forward to using the strategies that I learn with my students. Archives
